[Recipe] Turmeric Tea

This is a great anti-inflammatory and circulatory stimulating beverage. It may help to relieveĀ  joint discomfort, inflammation in the bowel and period pain.

Ingredients

1-4 tsp Turmeric, ground
1 tsp Cloves, ground
2 tsp Cardamon, ground
2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
2 tsp Ginger, ground
1.5 L Water

Method
Measure dry ingredients into a large sauce pan and add water. bring water and spices to the boil then simmer for 10-15 minutes. Poor into a jug; you may want to strain the tea through a filter paper to remove remaining spice solids. Drink a cup full as desired with or without the addition of milk (use almond milk/coconut milk for dairy-free option). If needed sweeten with a little honey, maple syrup, date paste, or stevia. Can be stored in the refrigerator for several weeks in an air-tight jar.
